Product Designer

Hi! We're Mercuryo, and we're on a mission to redefine finance by blending the best of traditional banking with the power of decentralized finance (DeFi). We believe everyone deserves seamless access to Web3 and traditional financial services, so we're building the platform that makes it real: one that simplifies crypto and integrates it into the broader financial ecosystem.

About the Role: This is a hands-on product designer role focused on crafting user experiences for a mature fintech/crypto product. Your mission will be to design intuitive and impactful user-centered interfaces that drive user engagement and support the expansion and optimization of our product offerings. We're looking for someone who thrives in execution — deeply understanding user needs, collaborating closely with developers, and shipping polished, experience-driven solutions within a high-impact design team.

• 5+ years of experience in product design, in mature tech products (not 0→1 startups)
• Strong experience working closely with development teams — you know how to hand off designs, navigate technical constraints, and iterate in tandem with engineers
• Focused on experience and interface design over strategic/conceptual design — you're a maker who ships, not just a thinker who presents
• Experienced in designing multi-platform products (web / native, desktop / mobile)
• High emotional intelligence — you give and receive feedback gracefully, communicate clearly, and build trust with cross-functional teammates
• Express your thoughts clearly to the team using your pitching skills, supporting with clear slides or guidelines
• Advocate for the best user experience, even if you need to challenge engineers and product managers
• Proven master of visual and interactive design
• Expert in Figma: advanced prototyping of complex user flows, development of DS components and automations, rapid prototyping, design system & UI Kit automations

Nice to have:

• Experience with design system foundations (tokens, grid systems, typography scales, component architecture)
• Background in fintech or crypto product design
• AI enthusiasm — you actively use AI tools beyond Figma to speed up your workflow and explore new design approaches
